The analog version of Linx allows users to connect directly to their phone system via analog lines. In this setup, you would need to create a group on your phone system that includes all the ports for Linx. Users would dial this group and Linx will prompt them to enter a room number. They would then enter that number and would be connected.

They can also connect single line analog phones directly to the system without the need for a PBX. In this scenario, when a user goes off hook, Linx will provide dial tone and they would just dial the room number.

In a standard tower case, this system is scalable to 16 ports. In a rack mount configuration, it is possible to go up to 48 ports.

The T1 version of the Linx is capable of connecting to almost any T1 based connection. It is scaleable up to 48 channels on either tower or rack mount platform.

With PRI, Linx can listen to the DINS digits sent across the D Channel, and if that number matches a room number, it will automatically send that caller to that room.

The VoIP setup allows you to connect SiP or H.323 phones to the Linx. The limit here is defined only by the power of the system. About 100 callers in at any one time is the approximate maximum that the system can handle. There is in no way a set number of callers the system will accept.

VoIP users that are connected to Linx directly can simply just pick up their VoIP phone and dial the number of the conference room.
