Web Conferencing is a web based application that elevates teleconferencing by providing highly effective presentation capabilities to any telephone meeting. Microsoft Power Point, Excel, software applications, white boarding, web, video and video streaming are part of the presentation capabilities of some web conferencing systems and hosted services. To set up a reservation web conference meeting a moderator or conference leader can send invitations to conference attendees usually through an Outlook or Lotus integration through the web conferencing system. This is an important feature as importing attendees through your email application makes inviting attendees vastly easier. On the invite the moderator will include a link to the web address of the web conference server, also included is the call in number to the audio conference bridge a conference room number, a PIN number or security number and a time for the scheduled conference meeting.
